Cost of college went down for all students at Mills College

Tuition and fees fell 34.6 percent for 2018-19 at Mills College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $30,257 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $15,979 less than the $46,236 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 171 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.5 million and 116 students took out student loans totaling more than $674,547.

Including all undergraduates (1,257), 743 students used grants or scholarships totaling $24.9 million, and 520 students took out $3.9 million in federal student loans.
