The Oakland Dept of Transportation (OakDOT) is proud to announce the Lake Merritt Bikeway Improvements Project, an upcoming project along Lakeside Dr and Lake Merritt Boulevard. The project aims to provide a safe, welcoming place to ride a bike or scooter around Lake Merritt from Madison Street to E 12th Street, improve pedestrian crossings at major intersections, and provide improvements for AC Transit bus service.
