Rep. Barbara Lee, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 12th district, recently shared several updates via social media. Her posts addressed public health guidelines, recognition from Howard University, and her stance on international peace efforts.

On November 18, Rep. Lee provided a resource for personal protection measures with a post stating: "For guidelines on how to best protect yourself, visit: https://t.co/lZdMhBOnvI".

Two days later, on November 20, she expressed gratitude towards Howard University for honoring her with the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center Social Justice Award. She emphasized collaboration in addressing injustice through her tweet: "Thank you to Howard University for awarding me with their Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center Social Justice Award... Working together, I know we can combat injustice and fight for freedom and fairness."

Later that day, Rep. Lee highlighted an international issue concerning arms transfers to Israel. She advocated for safeguarding civilian lives and advancing peace by sharing her joint statement supporting Senator Sanders' resolution: "The U.S. must use its leverage to safeguard civilian lives...
