City of Covina issued the following announcement on Dec 2.
The City of Covina is excited to announce the opening of Banna Park to the public!
The park is now open for passive recreational uses (green space, walking path, bicycle path) and a new fenced space for our four-legged friends. In accordance with County Health Orders, play and exercise equipment has been taped off, but we look forward to opening these areas once conditions allow.
Banna Park is located at the corner of N. Banna Avenue and Cypress Street, across the street from Charter Oak High School.
Banna Park was funded through a competitive grant award from the Rivers Mountains Conservancy and involved no expenditure of City General Funds.
