86 percent of applicants to Mills College were admitted for fall 2018

At Mills College, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 100 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Oakland enrolled 1,257 students in fall 2018, including 768 in undergraduate and 489 in graduate programs, data shows. 14.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

74 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 19 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (36 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (30 percent).

The school admitted 86 percent of the 1,003 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
