Cost of college went up for all students at Moler Barber College

Tuition and fees rose 5.8 percent for 2018-19 at Moler Barber College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $18,342 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $1,000 more than the $17,342 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 94 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 111 students received grants or scholarships totaling $647,575 and 128 students took out student loans totaling more than $786,792.

Including all undergraduates (273), 249 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.3 million, and 235 students took out $2.1 million in federal student loans.
