13 professional licenses issued in Los Angeles during Q2 2020

13 professional licenses were issued in Los Angeles during the second quarter of 2020, according to California’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). In the previous quarter, there were 14 licenses issued, marking a 7.1 percent decrease quarter over quarter.

Los Angeles had the most professional licenses issued in the area.

The DCA is composed of several agencies, bureaus, and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation. The agency has roots that date back to 1876 when California passed the Medical Practice Act of 1876. Today the agency issues more than 280 license types including certificates, registrations, and permits.
