Property owners in Alameda County paid 0.7% of the value of their homes in property taxes in the second quarter of 2024, which is less than 0.6 times the national average, according to the real estate analysis posted by Oakland City Wire.
In July, the median sale price of a home in Alameda County rose by $87,500 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 5.3%.
College tuition fees rose 0.3% in Alameda County in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
